• The Mizuno Wave Rider 26 running shoes are the next edition of the legendary series of training shoes from the Japanese brand Mizuno. Shoes designed for running on hard surfaces, mainly in the city.
• The latest version of the everyday training shoe retains the style of its predecessors, but offers more comfort and safety. The most significant change is the 2mm thicker sole than the previous version, made of elastic and soft Mizuno Enerzy foam. The increased thickness of the foam under the foot means even better energy return and protection against training overloads. As in previous editions, the additional Mizuno Wave plate placed in the sole stabilizes the shoes and additionally gives the effect of elastic bounce. This solution will be especially liked by runners who land on the heel.
• Changes to the upper and laces, which come from recycling, resulted in lower CO2 consumption in the production of this model. Additionally, the jacquard mesh is better ventilated and easily adapts to the shape of the feet.
• The tongue remains unchanged from its predecessors. It fits snugly against the instep, as does the well-profiled heel counter, creating the AeroHug system. Inside the shoe, we find a removable profiled insert, under which there is a panel made of mesh. This procedure reduces the weight of the shoe compared to the foam sole lining.
