NordicTrack and ProForm equipment has long been compatible with telemetry belts, but the purchase was the responsibility of the user. Imagine receiving your long-awaited treadmill and suddenly realizing you don't have the right heart rate monitor. Feel the frustration? Add to that the time spent searching for a belt that will definitely connect to your new equipment.

iFit decided to meet the needs of future customers and created its own armband that allows you to measure your heart rate during a workout. It's slim, lightweight, and made of soft material. This allows for comfortable training without interrupting the heart rate graph. The strap is sweat-resistant, so it won't slip off your wrist during exercise. The armband uses a Bluetooth® LE (BLE) connection. Data measured by the armband is displayed on the console or in the app (depending on the equipment you're training on).

Note that the iFit platform has introduced Active Pulse HR Training. This means that the treadmill or bike will automatically detect your band and adjust the workout to keep you in the appropriate heart rate zone. Adjusting the workout involves both increasing or decreasing the speed and incline of the device that supports it.
